Hello to everyone reading this:
I have decided to set up a blog for Brad and I just to keep everyone in touch with what's going on in our lives. We have so many friends and family that we dont get to see on a regular basis so this is just for you. As the 1st entry says, this is our blog from this day forward.
As new stuff in our lives unfold we will update the blog daily, well it will be managed by Liz, but as new stuff unfolds we will post news and updates as they happen. Currently in our lives, we found out that Brad will be starting a new schedule in August. The dept has approved 12 hr shifts. Although, this will very tiring for Brad to work such long hours per day the upside is that he will now be off on Saturdays. Yay! The schedule that we have discussed together is preferably 7pm-7am. Yes thats the deep nights shift, but in order to have Saturdays off we'll take it. His new days off will be Thurs, Fri, and Saturday with every other Sunday.
As for me, nothing new right now. Just getting ready for all the new babies this year. One of my close friends is due this Tuesday, April 8th. Unless Kendall comes on her own this weekend before. I wish her the best of luck and my prayers will be with her and Kendall as Stacy and Brandon welcome her into the world. My cousin and his wife, Chris and Tha, are welcoming a new baby girl Ana Julia sometime around May 16th. This is Tha's 1st and Chris' second child. I wish them the best as well. To top it off, the Denton family, my sister-in-law Jamie is due mid June and Brad and I both are estatic to be another Aunt and Uncle to another precious baby girl...name is TBD but it seems as though the favorite is Lily Faith. Anywho, it will be great to welcome another niece into this world too. Last, but certainly not least, Lindsey Hobbs and Vanessa Aleksines we think about you and your little ones too. Cant wait to meet all of our 2008 babies!!! To change the subject, I will be going sometime this month around the 15th of April to register for Ogle Hair School. Its a dream I have always had and now seems like the perfect time for me to achieve that dream. Check back because I will have updates and follow ups on that as well.
In closing, feel free to leave us comments on our blogs. We know that you like to hear from us but the feeling is mutual. We like to hear from you too!
Love all,
Liz and Brad

Hi Brad and Liz: So glad you are doing this. Now we all can keep in touch. Jeanette and I are visiting Vanessa and Tristan this weekend. We love to SHOP and we'll be doing that later this afternoon. Tristan has a Tball game this afternoon so that will be fun to watch. Kim received her Texas A&M ring yesterday . We attended her "ceremony". Of course we were told it's not a ceremony. Regardless, it was a very emotional time for the students. It's a really big deal to get the ring. We are so proud of her as well as Lindsey as she is getting her degree in elementary education next December. She will make a great teacher. Lindsey and Scott are having a girl and her due date of 8/15/08. Her name will be Taylor Lynn. Landra is so excited she's having a sister. Vanessa doesn't know what she will be having but I'm sure we'll know soon. Love the name that Jamie and Keith picked out.
Liz: Congrats on continuing your education. You'll make a great beautician. Now you can fix all of our hair when we make it to the nursing homes (ha) if not sooner. Brad: I'm so glad you'll be off on the weekends. That's great. You make a great officer. Hey, if you see any white Saturn Outlooks out there speeding, don't stop them as it may be me! Ha! You can stop Doug though in his HEB truck. I'm sure he would get a kick out of it! Doug, Chris and Chuck are at the Nascar races and I'm sure they're having a beer blast! (Gross!!)
Well, take care and let's all keep in touch. Love, Bernice
